Formica Granite, formerly known as 'Granite Express', was developed by Pete Sciarrno, owner of European Stone Company. The line was acquired by Formica in 2006. Unlike traditional slabs of granite that must be cut to order, shaped, polished, matched with a facing pieced and installed by a team, Formica Granite comes in easy to handle 78" x 25 ½" pieces and is finished with a 1 ½" bullnose edge. Also included is a 6" backsplash with polished edges. The pieces are adhered to each other with an epoxy resin colored to match the stone. So easy to install, the pieces fit together like a puzzle.
